We would like to share some of the great experiences our guests have had at the Mission Inn, so please take a moment to read what they have to say.
Thank you for your wonderful hospitality while visiting our relatives during Thanksgiving. The rooms were large and clean. My wife commented that she has never stayed in a hotel room so clean. We enjoyed the spa, refrigerator and microwave during out multi-day stay. BTW: The front desk and house cleaning staff were such nice people. We will be back.
Just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our recent visit to the Mission Inn. The front desk person made us feel so welcome after a long drive. Our room was large and spacious, and so clean. We relaxed and enjoyed the Swift Street organic brewery and some shopping. Later we walked to Natural Bridges at the recommendation of the desk person, to see the most fantastic sunset. We thought we were on a Pacific Island.
A gentleman, I soon found out was the General Manager, Ken Clark showed us with pride the Lobby remodeling, and talked about other up grades to the hotel. He also recommended a great dinner spot, which was exactly what my wife and I wanted.
We will make the Mission Inn our home while in Santa Cruz!
This was a very nice place to stay and the management was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and nice. It was a very convenient location, close to a lot of things. We really enjoyed our stay there.
Really Oh My Gosh... What a diamond in the rough this place is. I booked two rooms over memorial weekend for my daughter's wedding didn't think this place was going to be as nice as it was. Very Clean place helpful staff bed was so comfy! My wife and I are already planning our next Santa Cruz weekend trip. Seriously if you are looking for a nice clean place for a good deal look no further than Mission Inn!
We loved this place - it was so nice and clean!!!! It was located very near a most beautiful view of the ocean where people were jogging, walking their dogs or just sitting on the many benches located along the walking path enjoying the ocean breeze and view. An excellent spot to take some photos. One block away was a big Safeway shopping center and many little restaurants. This hotel is not far from main street Santa Cruz and the Beach Boardwalk. We will surely stay there again and recommend it highly - AAA approved also !!!
This is a great hotel! Nothing very fancy but very clean and friendly. This is our 3rd stay and we always go back. walking distance is restaurants and a grocery store (large Safeway). Quick drive to downtown, the beach or UCSC. Hot tub is small but very clean. Great value for the money.
My wife and I stayed 2 days at the Mission Inn . The rooms were clean and had a microwave , flatscreen TV,and a large fridge. The morning breakfast was more than we expected. Didnt get to use the sauna and the hot tub as we are beach bums and spent most of our time at the many beautiful beaches in Santa Cruz. The price was great. We also got to meet and speak with the G.M. Mr. Kenn Clark who was very friendly and professional. He gave us some tips on nearby events and fun things to do...great Guy!!!.............Stay at the mission Inn!!....you wont be sorry...THE ROGGES
My family and I stayed at this hotel over Thanksgiving, and we loved it! We were looking for a place to stay that was in a nice location, and reasonably priced. We found the Mission Inn hotel online and decided to try it out. It ended up being great! The rooms were very nice (and clean). Checking in to the hotel was very easy and the management is very nice and accommodating. I got to meet the new manager of the hotel and he was really great. He explained to me that he was new, and that the old management was out.
What I also liked about this hotel was their continental breakfast. They have a variety of foods to choose from and it is very delicious. Overall, this hotel is a great place to stay and I would definitely recommend it to someone coming in to town!
Nice hotel on the Highway1 near the edge of town. a good location for UCSC and less than a mile from the Natural Bridges beach. In the Spanish style with clean rooms and a courtyard setting that`s quite attractive......they take a lot of care with the landscaping and staff are very pleasant. I always book my in-laws and friends here and it keeps them happy and out of my house!
If you're in Santa Cruz for a night or two, this is a nice and convenient place to stay. Rooms are spacious and clean, and it's a motel so there is easy parking. It's not right in downtown, but you can walk or even take a cab, it's about a 5 minute drive.
They have a jacuzzi too - we were there for a wedding so it's a nice place to plan and have a bunch of people stay at.
We booked a three day stay at the Mission Inn, two days before our trip. We arrived after 3:00 A.M. and the front staff was able to accomadate our late check in without issues. Our room was always super clean and we were able to park right in front of our room. The housekeeping staff was very polite and greeted us every time we passed by. They were very respectful about not making too much noise in the early hours. Overall, noise was not a concern. We used the jacuzzi at night and it was very relaxing. Our room had a fridge and microwave which came in handy. Overall, we loved it and are going back to the Mission Inn. We will make sure to book ahead of time, to ensure a double bed room.
We stayed for one night on our drive from Los Angeles to San Francisco. Staff were helpful at check in and the room was big and spotlessly clean. Excellent value for a comfortable bed for the night. The fridge and microwave in the room were a bonus.
